What customers say?

“ Very nice service and cuisine at this authentic Indonesian restaurant. Had the pempek kapal selam and chicken skewers. Also enjoyed a ginger matcha latte. Service was attentive and quick! ”

- Maxwell Krem -

“ The restaurant was full, and there was a constant stream of patrons who looked like Indonesian and Malaysian tourists as well as local Indonesians working in The Hague. The food is authentic Indonesian, we really wanted some Asian food after a month of European fare, and this place did not disappoint. The Nasi Kuning Komplit and Bakmi were both good. Service by both owner and staff were efficient and warm. ”

- Cheng Lim -

“ Small Indonesian restaurant, tucked away just off one of the big shopping streets. Menu is quite extended and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quite liked the food myself and especially the lemonade, es kunyit asem, was really good. Perfect spot for lunch when hitting the town for shopping or sightseeing. ”

- Lisanne Peters -

“ We came for the bakmi, and we weren’t disappointed. Tasty and authentic! Too bad the noodle and the broth weren’t hot enough, so when we were eating, it has become cold. The pangsit was so-so, the shape was a bit weird and tasted too much like flour. Our dessert was Es Campur, and that was totally delicious. ”

- Francisca -

“ a great cozy spot for authentic indonesian food, and I would definitely recommend it! :) the only down side of my experience was that the server was a little unfriendly but besides that the experience was overall good ”

- Chantal Vissia -

“ Very very good food. Service was friendly, gave good recommendations, and the nice ladies were interested in where I was from. It was quiet when I visited on a Wednesday evening, but I would imagine this place is super busy on the weekends. I would definitely recommend the noodles, which are made in-house. Ask for it spicy and ye shall receive. ”

- Jason Barney -

“ Super kind staff members. They explained some items on the menu that we were unfamiliar with. Generally, the staff’s interactions towards guests was very warm and friendly, which left a good impression on us. The restaurant seating is comfortable and clean. We ordered a delicious soto ayam and nasi rendang padang, and es campur for dessert. In the end, two guests even offered us martabak, which happened to be an exclusive special on Thursdays. Overall, we really enjoyed our first visit to Trio Eethuis. We would definitely return! ”

- Eileen -

“ We had a very nice lunch here today. The lady serving us was helping regarding my wife’s peanut allergy. The waitress was able to let us know which dishes were vegan. The tempe Rames was absolutely delicious!! There are plenty of other vegan and vegetarian options available. We will be back to try the vegan noodles. ”
